Construction is almost complete at the lot on W.2nd Avenue and Wylie Street on one of west Olympic Villages’ most anticipated new residential development projects.
Aurmon Development put plans in place to build a 12 story (10 stories and 2 penthouse levels) above a six story podium, 133 unit complex called “W2” at 371 W.2nd Avenue. It is comprised of 6 studios, 83 one bedrooms, 35 two bedrooms and 9 three bedroom condos. There will be 137 parking spaces, storage lockers, a private courtyard at ground level as well as a rooftop common patio with stunning views of the city and mountains. Other amenities in the building include 24 hr concierge, gym, yoga room and air conditioning.
The glass and metal exterior of W2 will be a light and dark grey colour scheme with blue accents on the windows and blue green screens on the lane way side of the building.
The neighbourhood of W2 is near every amenity you can think of! Right on the bus route and the Olympic Village sky train station is a two minute walk away. W.2nd Avenue is the portal to other awesome neighbourhoods and amenities as well including the shops and restaurants of the Cambie Corridor, Granville Island, Kitsilano, Mount Pleasant and of course the Cambie Bridge brings you to all the action of downtown. This development is sure to be the one to watch in the coming months!
