From 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver (900 West Georgia Street) This year the Hotel Van is throwing one of the biggest Vancouver New Year’s Eve Parties. This extravagant venue is cordoning off an entire floor of the historical building for a massive, multi-room celebration. Each of the floor’s five ballrooms will be turned into individually themed pop-up nightclubs, which are slated to showcase a range of different musical vibes. Highlights include dance-floor anthems from the ’70s and ’80s played by a live band; a hip-hop room headlined by Red Bull Thre3style winner Hedspin; a mini house, techno, and disco club with international performers; and an R&B dance party directed by local hero Zeeaa. The final room will offer a private bar, award-winning food and an excellent place to chill out. 
Telus World of Science
From 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. at Science World (1455 Quebec Street) Presented by Twisted Productions, Hollywood Promotions, and John Donnelly & Associates features five fully licensed bars and two separate floors of music, where six of Vancouver’s best DJs will be on deck. A topnotch sound-system and special lighting effects are expected to take the event to the next level. Although the venue has a capacity of 1,200 heads, the affair consistently sells out. Regular tickets include a champagne toast at midnight and VIP bottle service is also available. 
Gatsby’s Yacht 2018 aboard The Magic Spirit Yacht
From 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at 750 Pacific Blvd (dock located behind Edgewater Casino) Set sail for a three-hour cruise on 2 Decks with 2 Top Vancouver DJs and Complimentary Appetizers. This speakeasy prohibition-style party cruise will be one for the Bee’s Knees.
