New Development: Avenue One – 201 W.2nd Avenue

Construction on Concord Pacific and GBL Architect’s newest and most anticipated Olympic Village development, Avenue One, is underway!  Located at 201 West 2nd Avenue behind Hinge Park, this state of the art building, featuring 139 one bedroom units, 96 two bedroom units and 12 loft/ 3 bedrooms spread over 17 floors could easily be the most luxurious development in this neighbourhood to date.

The list of craftsmanship details and thoughtful design elements is extensive including smart thermostats, marble tiles, quartz countertops and state of the art appliances from high end brands such as Miele, Kohler and Grohe.  Two bedrooms units can enjoy outdoor living at it’s finest with large patios featuring solar shades, porcelain floor tiles, gas outlets, hose bib and wood look soffit ceilings with heaters and intimate lighting.  One bedroom units offer Juliette balconies and balconettes providing fresh air and showcasing the stunning city, water and mountain views.

There will be 249 lockers and parking stalls each with electric vehicle charging stations, wifi access in the lobby and amenity level, an in house automatic touchless car wash in the parking level, pet grooming station, and first class fitness facility.  Avenue One will feature a fully landscaped urban garden with water features and wetlands that take advantage of and flow seamlessly towards Hinge Park.

But with this building it really is all about the views.  Unobstructed north and west views of Southeast False Creek, North Shore mountains and the downtown skyline.  Protected Hinge park is front and centre and it is unlikely the views would be compromised anytime soon.  This is the place to be and one of the last Olympic Village developments offering the sought after views as waterfront land (or close to) becomes scarce.

Check out the sample floorplans below and for more information on how you can get your hands on one of these units, give me a call.
